The Open Championship is the oldest of the four Majors in men’s golf and offers the largest prize fund of them all. The event is hosted annually by one of the most prestigious golf clubs in the UK.

In 2008 at Royal Birkdale; Padraig Harrington became the first European golfer to win The Open Championship consecutive, since James Braid in 1906.
